Dr. Lucia li
Dr. Li grew up in Richmond, BC. After graduating with a Bachelor of Science in biotechnology from UBC and BCIT, she worked in an ophthalmologist's office where her interests in Optometry began. She also traveled to the Philippines with the Third World Eye Care Society to distribute donated eye glasses, and she wishes to be on board for more eye care projects in the future.
She went on to pursue her Doctorate of Optometry at The University of Waterloo. In addition to education in Canada, her clinical training includes ocular disease at a Veteran Affairs hospital in Chicago, and primary care at the Polytechnic University in Hong Kong (speaking fluent Chinese!).
Lucia is happy to be home practicing in beautiful British Columbia. Not everyone's visual needs are the same, and she believes in tailoring her eye care service to each patient. She also believes her job as an optometrist continues to those that are suffering visual loss, and is a proud sponsor of a guide dog puppy who will grow up to make a huge difference in someone's life!
