Dr. Bobby Chai

Dr. Bobby Chai was born and raised in Vancouver, BC, where he attended the University of British Columbia before heading out east to the University of Waterloo to complete his Doctor of Optometry degree. While there, he completed rotations in primary care, pediatric, and ocular disease clinics amongst others. Also during his studies, he completed an externship in Pinellas Park, Florida, where he worked closely with ophthalmologists to gain experience co-managing ocular conditions such as cataracts, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy. Dr. Chai is happy to be back home where he can enjoy the natural wonders of BC, play Ultimate Frisbee, and cheer on the Canucks.
