Dr. Eva Wong

Dr. Eva Wong was born in Hong Kong and raised in Vancouver. After completing her Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry at the University of British Columbia, she completed her Master of Education in Visual Function and Learning, and her Doctor of Optometry degree at the Pacific University in Oregon, where she graduated with honours.

Her clinical experiences include diagnosing and co-managing eye diseases at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Florida, providing comprehensive eye care and contact lens care at the Alaska Eyecare Center in Anchorage, as well as co-managing refractive laser and cataract surgeries at a surgical center in Tigard, Oregon.

In 2011, she traveled to Nicaragua, along with a team of doctors, optometry students and local volunteers, to provide eye care services to over 700 patients in the area.

She is pleased to bring her skills and knowledge in eye care back home to British Columbia, and looks forward to accepting new patients at the WestCoast Doctors of Optometry.
